SPOA Speaks to the Press About Vertical Inequity As Boston Property Tax Assessments Are Called into Question

The fairness of property tax assessments by the City of Boston has been called into question recently, following reports of higher value properties getting taxed at lower rates relative to lower value properties getting taxed at higher rates. SPOA member Chris Lehman addressed this issue, which is referred to as "vertical inequity," in interviews with The Boston Globe and WBUR.
